How Hilppus Team collects, uses, shares, and protects information.
This Privacy Policy explains how Hilppus Team ("Hilppus", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Hilppus mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This policy is intended to meet common app marketplace transparency expectations, including Apple App Store review requirements.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.
1) Who the Service Is For (Age 17+)
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe a user under 17 has provided personal information, please contact us.

3) How We Use Information (Purposes)
- Provide & maintain the Service (accounts, login, community features).
- Personalize your experience and recommendations.
- Improve features, performance, reliability, and safety.
- Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
- Customer support and communications.
- Legal compliance and enforcement of our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
4) AI-Assisted Features (Optional) and Data Handling
Some features may offer optional AI-assisted processing (for example, generating content based on user-provided text or images, or enhancing/transforming user-provided media) to help you create or organize content.
- User control: you decide whether to upload or submit content for AI processing and whether to use the result.
- Processing location: AI inputs are processed on servers controlled by Hilppus (our own infrastructure).
- No third-party sharing: we do not share AI inputs or outputs with any third-party AI providers.
- Deletion: AI inputs and outputs are deleted promptly after processing is completed, except as needed to deliver results or for security and legal compliance.
- No training/marketing: we do not use photos or AI inputs/outputs for advertising targeting, marketing, or to train third-party models.
5) Photos, Face Data, and Biometrics
- We do not perform facial recognition and do not collect biometric identifiers for identification.
- Photo-based one-time processing is performed only to deliver the result you request and is deleted promptly after completion.
- By default, generated results are stored locally on your device unless you choose to upload/share them.
6) How We Share Information
- With your consent when you direct us to share.
- With service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards (minimum necessary).
- For legal, safety, and rights to comply with law or protect users and the Service.
- Business transfers as part of mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers with appropriate safeguards.
7) International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
8) Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate.
- Access controls and least-privilege practices.
- Regular audits, monitoring, and backups.
No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9) Data Retention
- Account data: for the duration your account is active.
- After account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days unless legally required.
- Usage/analytics: up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymized.
- Support: up to 6 months.
10) Your Choices and Rights

11) Location Permissions
If you grant location permission, you can disable it at any time in your device settings. Some features may be limited without location access.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date above and, if changes are material, provide additional notice as required by law.
14) Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Hilppus Team's primary place of business, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, as further described in our Terms of Service, unless prohibited by applicable law.
